As one of the world’s most iconic luxury automotive brands, Bugatti’s legacy is rooted in timeless design, precision engineering, and exclusivity. However, evolving market dynamics and shifting consumer expectations demanded a refresh to resonate with a new generation while preserving the brand’s heritage.

The challenge was clear: how to honor Bugatti’s tradition while creating a modern, progressive identity that speaks to today’s world.


Crafting the approach

In collaboration with Bugatti’s core team and our core design team at Interbrand, we embarked on a comprehensive redesign process to define a contemporary visual and strategic direction for the brand. Our approach centered around three pillars:


Preserving Legacy:
Respecting Bugatti’s storied history by maintaining key design elements that symbolize elegance and performance.

Modernizing Aesthetics:
Introducing sleek, forward-thinking visuals and typography that reflect innovation and luxury.

Resonating with Today’s Market:
Aligning the brand with current cultural and market trends to connect with younger, affluent audiences.


Execution

Logo Evolution:
Retained the iconic Bugatti emblem while refining its contours for a cleaner, sharper look that appeals to modern sensibilities.


Color Palette Update:
Enhanced the color scheme with contemporary tones to convey sophistication and progressiveness.

Typography & Layouts:
Designed a custom typeface and layouts for digital and print materials that balance tradition with innovation.

Digital Presence:
Collaborated on revamping Bugatti’s online platforms, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for a digitally-savvy audience.
